blood clots.. muscle strain.. (how do i treat chest pain?)

 Hello and welcome to my Action Project (AP) for my STEAM class, CURE. In this Unit, we have learned about different treatment including medication and drugs, as well as the difference between curing and treating diseases or symptoms. In order to understand this, we looked at the inactive and active ingredients in different drugs/medicaments, and the "Lock and Key" model that shows how drugs fit specific enzymes in the body. We even visted the Museum of Science and Industry to view a sample case of a patient with health problems, and our class worked in groups to run tests and make a diagnosis. To apply our knowledge of treatment options, each student picked a symptom to research and find treatment options for.

 

After researching the different kinds of treatment, it became apparent that chest pain is broad. Sometimes, chest pain can just occur from stress. I was pleased to find several different options for relieving and treating chest pain, but definitely seek advice from a professional if you're concerned.
